About the role

Our core brands provide a third of Xeim revenues and support the marketing campaigns for other flagship brands including Econsultancy and Influencer Intelligence.

Your role leads the marketing planning and delivery of our core brands, supporting the wider strategy created by the Head of Marketing, Group Marketing Director, and Portfolio MD. This includes Marketing Week, Festival of Marketing, Awards, Leadership Summits and Creative Review.

You’ll be building an always on brand presence throughout the year creating comms and content that will resonate, delivering results in the form of attendance at events and engagement across the community that leads to subscription revenues and registrations. To ensure success, you will be supported by a broader network of people from the brand and marketing teams through to our data, digital and automation teams and partners.

You will be comfortable working closely with other teams within the business. Collaboration with internal stakeholders who already have relationships with some of these target customers will be extremely important.

You will support the creation and delivery of subscription marketing plans to grow revenues and renewals, delegates and supporting award revenues. And work with our commercial Labs team to help ensure that opportunities being sold sit well alongside this audience’s needs and interests, the editorial team helping to engage customers as contributors and judges for our Awards and the content team when they are looking for speakers within our events.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute strategic marketing plans on time and within budget
  • Drive attendance to the Festival of Marketing and Leadership Summit as well as supporting the Senior Marketing Executive on our Awards marketing
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to create and deliver a subscriptions marketing plan for Marketing Week and Creative Review
  • Grow website metrics working with our SEO Manager to optimise content
  • Work with our digital ad agencies to deliver new customers to our core brand websites and build repeat visits and loyalty
  • Create and deliver a content marketing plan to extend the reach and build engagement with the core brands with our marketing audience, repurposing the content from Marketing Week and Creative Review to amplify our core brand messages.
  • Own and manages a database of key contacts for Xeim making sure we are collecting customer data consistently across the brands
  • Report on the success of marketing campaigns sharing ideas with other marketing teams
  • Develop an active social media presence, pushing relevant content from Xeim’s media platforms and building their social selling index (SSI) in LinkedIn
  • Becomes the intermediary between the senior brand-side marketers and the rest of the business
  • Gathers insights into audience needs/drivers to inform product development and opportunities within Festival of Marketing and Xeim

What we need from you:

  • An experienced marketer able to draw on the full marketing mix to deliver results
  • A natural communicator, both written and verbal, with experience of?virtual and face to face?presenting to?senior level executives
  • Experience of working in a busy environment with a track record to consistently achieve targets?
