JOB TITLE:                      HR Manager (Maternity Cover – Up to 12 months contract)

LOCATION:                      Remote Home Working

(Must be able to access Portsmouth or London for ad hoc team meetings and social events)

You’ll be happy to take on lots of different projects and be confident managing HR processes. As the main point of contact you’ll ensure that employees feel confident and trust you to get the job done.

As a remote business it’s vital that you champion the ReallyB2B culture and are able to work independently to deliver a high standard of HR support.

Most of all you’ll have a ‘can do’ attitude and want to be a key player within our passionate team!

 

Who will guide me….? 

The Centaur Media HR Team and all your colleagues within Really

 

A day in the life of…. 

  • You’ll manage the day to day HR processes and love the variety of daily tasks. One minute you’ll be managing the recruitment process and the next you’ll be doing pay roll notifications.
  • You’ll be an advisor the Senior Management Team for all things people related, this includes formulating and executing the company people strategy plans.
  • You’ll assist the Really B2B Managers with recruitment and help coordinate the process.
  • You’ll set up interviews, new starters & onboarding paperwork, as well as ensuring right to work checks have been completed and the new starters remote access is set up.
  • When we have any leavers you’ll organise exit interviews and inform payroll.
  • You’ll also track holiday, sickness / absence and return to work, ensuring that Centaur Media payroll have all the correct information each month.
  • You’ll keep an up to date performance review log and help advice Managers on the performance review process.
  • You’ll be great when it comes to admin and ensure written confirmations (increases / mat leave / leaving dates) are sent out in a timely manner and saved on file.
  • You’ll have a keen eye for detail and not be phased by large amounts of data when doing pay roll notifications and commission calculations.
  • Being helpful will come naturally to you and you’ll ensure all employees receive the best pastoral care and their mental health and wellbeing is maintained.
  • You’ll coordinate risk assessments for employees remote working space and check they have everything they need to deliver an amazing job!

  • Although we don’t have an office, we do make sure everyone gets together and celebrates our success. You’ll come up with and organise exciting social events!
  • You will co-ordinate grievances, disciplinaries and performance management.
  • You’ll be a great listener and provide sensible general HR advice and guidance.

What we need you to have….             

  • You’ll have some experience in a B2B business in a similar role.
  • You’ll be highly competent when it comes to Project Management and process the skills to take on new tasks as they arise
  • You’ll have experience working within operations, or within an administrative role
  • You’ll be super confident on Microsoft Office and an expert on Excel
  • You’ll be a stickler for detail and ensure that all admin and paperwork is of the highest standard
  • It is desirable that you’ll be CIPD qualified to a level 5 standard, however this is not essential
