The Digital Learning Designer works with the content and learning teams to support the design, development and execution of digital learning content for professionals in digital marketing and eCommerce. Professional Learning is the company’s fastest growing business line and is central to our strategy. Building excellent digital learning courses is vital to our mission of helping digital marketers and eCommerce professionals achieve excellence for their organisations and themselves.

What you’ll do

  • Work with the heads of learning and editorial content to identify existing informational content for conversion into learning
  • Manage the development of instructional materials (eLearning, tutorials, digital interactives, user guides, audio and video materials, storyboards, knowledge checks, etc) that transform information into learning
  • Help design and develop content, courses, and curriculums along with documentation and resources that best fit the needs of the learner
  • Build and maintain relationships with business leaders and key subject matter experts to ensure training is aligned with objectives and understand causes of performance gaps
  • Experiment and use trending learning management and creation technologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences
  • Evaluate and ensure program effectiveness through measurement and analysis
  • Anticipate and investigate learner’s questions to continually improve our processes and products
  • Work with managers and leaders to identify and improve learner engagement and performance gaps
  • Be the point person to train the team on training; keep up to date on learning tools, trends, and ideas to offer innovative solutions to instructional technology principles and practices including design thinking, adult learning principles, blended learning, mobile design, and interactive training

  • You can translate complex systems and processes into practical learning using storyboards, design thinking sessions and stakeholder interviews
  • You can apply change management and adapt to an evolving business while staying focused on important goals
  • You have experience in designing learning and development solutions; gamification, microlearning.
  • Experience of digital transformation, digital marketing & eCommerce are a plus


What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in Instructional Design, Learning Development (UI/UX design is a plus)
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree
  • Proficient knowledge and skills on the principles of adult learning and learning development tools
  • Strong skills in communication, design theory, copywriting, storytelling, and presenting
  • A history of continuous self-development
  • Have a strong reputation for accountability, collaboration, and reliability
  • Effectively strategic whilst excelling tactically in executing
  • Adaptable to change and rapid growth
  • Subject matter expert in corporate L&D trends, training tools, and technology while continuously exploring new and innovative approaches
