The challenge

To relieve pressure on over-stretched central teams, there was a need to democratise critical digital, marketing and ecommerce skills across the wider marketing function. The goal was to build self-sufficiency and increase the speed of decision making on topics including Lead Generation, Customer Experience, and Conversion Rate Optimisation and more.

What we did

  • We developed a series of Connection Clinics and 121 Virtual Mentoring sessions focused on empowering the team to operate independently
  • Each session focused on live business challenges, with the aim of grounding the coaching in the day-to-day role of the marketer
  • Best in class studies, models and thought leadership was embedded using examples from Marketing Week and Econsultancy

Results

As the result of the workshops the team grew in confidence, became more self-sufficient, and were able to speed up decision making processes. Moreover, the programme created a network of internal champions who were able to assess work critically and validate plans and execution of work.
